Their marriage starts as pure arrangement, all surfaces and protocol, and then a kidnapping call cracks it open. Watching two people discover each other years into their own wedding is such a strange, addictive angle for a thriller. Yu Yeon-seok plays Baek Sa-eon cold and precise, which makes every small slip of warmth land twice as hard. And Chae Soo-bin says more with her hands and her face than most leads do with pages of dialogue. The tension between what is spoken, signed, and deliberately left unsaid carries whole episodes. I binged the back half in one night. If you like your romance wrapped in menace and phone static, this one is worth losing sleep over.
