A man wakes up in a hospital after a car accident, unable to remember his name, his family, or where he lives. After identifying his fingerprints at the police station, he learns his name (Lee Moon-ki) and his address, and returns home. In a space that feels like a stranger's house, he wakes from an uneasy sleep to find a woman watching him. She claims to be a ghost. Moon-ki assumes it's a hallucination from the accident, but when he visits a funeral home with her, he sees her portrait among the deceased. The woman's name is Kim Yeon-hwa. Confused as to why a ghost would seek him out, Moon-ki learns that Yeon-hwa died in a robbery-murder and asks if she wants him to find the culprit and take revenge. Yeon-hwa calmly replies that the police will catch the criminal, emphasizing that there is something much more important to do. The reason Yeon-hwa sought out Moon-ki lies within his own lost memories...
