Ceramics (KBS Special) (2004)

KBS Special 'Ceramics' is an investigative report on human civilization in its true sense, covering the period from 8000 BC, when settled civilization began, to the present, and encompassing vast filming locations across 5 continents and over 30 countries. It is a 6-part documentary series produced over 3 years with a budget of 1.25 billion won, an unprecedented scale for a Korean broadcast documentary, combining consultations and testimony interviews from domestic and foreign scholars, experiments and reconstructions based on this, and historical cities restored with computer graphics. Through high-sensitivity HD imagery and the majestic music of Japanese-Korean composer Yang Bang-ean, KBS Special 'Ceramics' presents a new vision for the 21st-century globalization era internally, and externally, it will be a special opportunity to encounter a well-made program comparable to documentary series from leading overseas broadcasting stations.
