A 4-part documentary produced by SBS. It aired from June 29, 2008, to July 13, 2008. The broadcast time was every Sunday at 23:20. It was directed by Kim Jong-il, with actor Moon Sung-keun, the son of pastor Moon Ik-hwan, as the narrator. This documentary faced strong backlash from conservative Protestant groups in Korea, citing reasons such as "denying the divinity of Jesus, shaking Christian doctrine, and glorifying Islam." Large-scale protests opposing its broadcast occurred, centered around the Christian Council of Korea (HanGyeChong). HanGyeChong even ran newspaper ads with critical messages, claiming it was an "insult to 2.3 billion Christians worldwide." However, the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church did not show significant objections, and some Catholic believers even scoffed at HanGyeChong, saying, "They only pretend to be Christian brothers when it suits them." Objectively, however, the documentary's tone cannot be considered extreme. On the contrary, given the characteristics of South Korea, its tone is seen as quite accommodating towards religion. Consequently, it faced a peculiar situation where it was criticized by non-religious individuals (atheists, agnostics, etc.) for "failing to hit the core issues sharply," while also drawing backlash from religious individuals for being "too extreme."
