It's no exaggeration to say that the entire nation buzzes when there are international sporting events like the Olympics, World Cup, and Asian Games. Our people's affection for sports can be called exceptional. However, that affection is by no means evenly distributed across all sports. Handball is a sport that struggles to gain attention in our country. There's even a joke that our handball season only comes around once every four years. In Europe, it enjoys popularity second only to football, and there were times when our men's and women's national teams were the strongest in the world, but then and now, handball remains an unpopular sport in South Korea. Yet, the sweat shed by the athletes is by no means proportional to popularity. This program aims to shed light on the valuable sweat and efforts of athletes in an unpopular sport through the Incheon City handball team, which is achieving remarkable results in the nearing end of the 22-23 Handball Korea League, and to create an opportunity to support the future of South Korean handball.
