After Ok-nyeo is brought into the rich Mr. Choi's house as a surrogate mother, the wet nurse Kang and the physician Do plot to steal Mr. Choi's fortune by using her. When Ok-nyeo shows no signs of pregnancy, Kang and the physician seduce the loyal servant Yoo-bok to use him as the father. After forming a connection with Yoo-bok, Ok-nyeo becomes pregnant, and Kang and the physician attempt to drive Yoo-bok away. Yoo-bok and Ok-nyeo, who have fallen in love, end up fleeing after accidentally killing Mr. Choi, but are caught. This exposes the crimes of Kang and the physician, who are handed over to the authorities.
