With rustic settings and characters that exude a hometown feel, such as a rural house with a veranda, a slice of nostalgic memories unfolds. Man-do, who lives with his grandmother, receives a gift of crayons one day and happily goes to school. However, in art class, when Man-do proudly takes out his crayons, he is mistaken for a thief by Kyung-sik, the neighborhood gang leader, who had forgotten his own crayons. After being beaten severely, on his way home, Man-do draws with broken crayons before falling asleep and spending a happy time with his parents in a dream. As his grandmother carries the sleeping Man-do home on her back, the day draws to a close. A masterpiece with a rough black-and-white drawing style, lyrical content, and a harmony of old children's songs and folk music.
