On a foggy, dark night, there is an old woman and a young girl. The old woman tells the legend of the 'Demon King' passed down in the village. In the distant past, the Demon King tormented the villagers, but the new Demon King, a young king, was a kind and simple-minded king, unable to kill even an insect. His mother, displeased with this, tried to educate him, but failed. Unable to adapt to such a life, the Demon King was always lonely and sad. The girl, hearing the story, felt pity for the Demon King and finally decided to become his friend. To meet the Demon King, the girl climbed to his altar. However, what awaited the girl was a terrifying monster, completely different from the old woman's story. In the end, the girl became the monster's sacrifice and disappeared without a trace. The old woman and the villagers, who had witnessed it all, hurried back to the village, declaring that the village's peace had been restored.
