A battlefield in wartime. Even as soldiers and tanks engage in combat, a mother bird in a small nest is diligently incubating her eggs. When the mother bird briefly leaves the nest, a military boot steps on and crushes the eggs. Afterward, an unexploded grenade is placed in the nest. Unaware, the mother bird continues to incubate the grenade, mistaking it for an egg. Suddenly, the grenade begins to emit smoke. However, a tiny baby bird is born from it.
