Hye-ryeon, a second-year high school student going through a painful adolescence, one day sees Myung-jun appear as a savior and be appointed as a Korean language teacher. She begins to send him numbered poems, secretly burning her love. As Hye-ryeon gradually completes her love and prepares to confess, Myung-jun tells her about the death of a friend during his university days and his inability to escape his love for a woman named Seon-hee, before disappearing. Having overcome a destructive life to enter university, Hye-ryeon ignores the love of Hee-seop, a classmate, but still cannot forget her love for Myung-jun and persistently tries to track him down. One day, Hye-ryeon and Myung-jun reunite at a seminar meeting. However, Myung-jun realizes that he cannot escape the delusion of a woman named Seon-hee and decides to yield his love to his former lover. Eventually, Hye-ryeon suffers from amnesia and, seeing Myung-jun who doesn't even recognize her, dedicates absolute love to him until the end.
