During the Japanese occupation, Maeng-gu is assigned to the village academy of Yongcheon. The Wild Academy aims to properly educate eight troublemakers from across the country. From their admission, truly wild and comical incidents occur. However, Maeng-gu seeks to make these troublemakers into new people by awakening in them the national spirit and the sorrow of having lost their country. One day, the troublemakers' training begins, and during a shooting drill, a firearm accident involving Wang Keun-dol leads to the death of Principal Hwang Mul-chong. Following this incident, Hwang Mul-chong's interference becomes increasingly cunning.
