Goldfish and Jindo Dog are wandering jesters. They settle in Hak Village. Mr. Park of Hak Village is tormented by a loan shark named Hwang due to a debt he donated for independence funding. Goldfish falls in love at first sight with Kkot-nyeo, Mr. Park's only daughter, and secretly helps her. Goldfish rescues Kkot-nyeo, who falls into Hwang's plot. Mr. Park and Kkot-nyeo are driven out of their home and live with Goldfish and the jesters. To reclaim the house and land stolen by Hwang, Goldfish tries to trick him with a ghost game, but fails and returns to his original family. Goldfish disguises himself as a prosecutor to deceive the police chief and rescue a colleague, but his lie is discovered and he is arrested. Taken to the police station, Goldfish is released with the help of Kkot-nyeo's fiancé. Goldfish wishes Kkot-nyeo happiness and sets off on his journey.
