Ji-sook, who works at a neighborhood mart, receives a complaint because she gave products nearing their expiration date to a young brother and sister instead of discarding them. This puts her close colleague on the verge of being fired. Workers are always the ones swayed by store regulations. No flexibility is allowed in a world made up of the powerful and the subordinate. In the midst of this bitter reality, Ji-sook asks the store manager, who has declared her colleague's dismissal, "When is my turn?". Ji-sook confesses the truth in her precarious situation, unaware of her own circumstances, and then meets the young siblings that night and heads home.
