In the spring of 2012, users of a homeless center near Seoul Station formed an amateur theater troupe called 'Pencil Case' (People Whose Spirits Connect Through Theater). With support from the city, the members secured a place to live and also gained the will to live stable lives by obtaining jobs. However, as members drop out due to practical difficulties and internal conflicts, preparations for their first regular performance scheduled for the fall face a crisis.
