After failing the physical examination for military service, Dok-i has his tuition fees pickpocketed by Mi-a at a disco where he was celebrating his return to school with friends. Despondent, he meets San-cho, who is selling strange remedies on the street and is being chased by a patrol. These two very different individuals constantly face disasters wherever they go, but they are full of joy. Mi-a, who wants to earn money somehow to live a good life, continues her carefree life. Dok-i and San-cho, determined to get back the lost money, learn about Mi-a's past, feel pity for her, and decide to help her. Mi-a realizes that her life is an unattainable dream and is devastated, but with San-cho's help, she discovers love for Dok-i.
