Dr. Uhm Hye-jin, director of the Korean Institute for Sexual Research, majored in sexology in the United States. Despite conflict with her conservative father, who believed she was researching the genealogy of surnames (姓) rather than sexuality (性), her academic passion does not fade. Seeing women who are constantly brought to the hospital for the same illness, Dr. Uhm accidentally learns about Seok-bo, who possesses extraordinary sexual vigor. When Dr. Uhm brings him to her lab, problems arise both internally and externally. The opposition from the villagers, who consider Seok-bo with his gigantic phallus as the village's guardian deity, the jealousy of Dr. Uhm's husband, and the difficulty of managing Seok-bo, who attacks women day and night, are considerable. Eventually, Dr. Uhm is also raped by Seok-bo, but she appears on TV as usual, advocating for open female sexuality, and leaves the television station in a wheelchair pushed by Seok-bo.
