Young Il is a promising genius on the verge of military discharge, engaged to Mi Ri, the daughter of the wealthy Mr. Do. However, Young Il meets Chun Hee, his future father-in-law's mistress, and conflict begins. Chun Hee, a prostitute, completely captures Young Il's heart, leading him to decide to break up with Mi Ri and vow to marry Chun Hee. But Chun Hee, due to internal conflicts, has to part ways with Young Il, returns to her hometown, and contemplates death.
