Director Oh Min-wook meets Taiwanese filmmaker Xiao at a film festival in Tainan. Through this encounter, Xiao is invited to participate in Oh Min-wook's East Asia project, connecting Taiwan, China, Japan, and Korea, as a producer and narrator. The journey, in the form of Xiao's letters to her mother, in search of the traces of the war that took place in East Asia 60 years ago, began thus. In reality, Xiao is a dramatic narrator representing Oh Min-wook, tasked with gently conveying the director's gray outlook on East Asia through nostalgia and concern for his mother.
