In a quiet island village in Incheon where time seems to stand still, a young novelist (Hyuk), diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, arrives at a small guesthouse to write his final masterpiece. There, he encounters the face of his fiancée (Miju) again, who passed away a year prior. However, he discovers her name is actually 'Ran', and she leads an unhappy life working at a local ticket parlor.
