Jin Kyung lived in Pocheon for 12 years, but a fire completely destroyed her studio. She then moved to Hongcheon, built a studio with debt, and worked as an art director at the craft department store Ssamzigil in Insadong to pay off those debts. Only recently did she finally clear her debts and hold a solo exhibition for the first time in nearly 10 years. This film tells the story of the paintings displayed at that exhibition. Jin Kyung discards nothing in her life. Objects that could have been thrown away as trash become works of art through her fingertips. She rolls up the burnt blankets and clothes from her Pocheon studio to make colorful balls, and pastes burnt books page by page to create painting boards. On these boards, instant noodle wrappers bloom into noodle flowers, and the time Jin Kyung has lived unfolds into layered mountain paintings.
