The first land under the Arctic, the Siberian tundra. Seven months of the year, the temperature drops below -60 degrees Celsius, and in summer, it's the place with the most mosquitoes in the world. And here live the Nenets, the last reindeer nomads of the tundra, and pure, cheerful children who resemble reindeer. After enduring a harsh winter at -60 degrees, followed by spring, which marks the moment of life's birth, and summer, where the green grasslands breathe. After the summer vacation ends and the children leave for school in the city in autumn, the tundra once again welcomes winter. The nomadic life, which involves traveling over 1000 km following the reindeer with each change of season in the tundra, from south in winter to north in summer. And even in this harsh environment, where they must sleep outdoors year-round, the lives of the Nenets people, who revere the great nature and are grateful for being alive within it, continue today.
