For the final round!! The world is always the opposite of what I think. Winning or losing, you have to try to know!! Jung Soo (played by Kim Myung-gon), a master of Hwatu, wanders through provincial cities because he is too well-known in Seoul. Along the way, he meets Jae Hyang (played by Jin Joo-hee), a gambling errand girl, and they return to Seoul together. Jae Hyang pressures Jung Soo to earn money, while an old friend, Hong Seok (played by Jeon Mu-song), who is organizing a fraud ring, asks Jung Soo for help. Kang To (played by Park Sang-min), a thug who organized extortion gangs through staged self-injury, is fascinated by Jung Soo's exceptional gambling skills during a game at Hong Seok's hideout. Upon accidentally discovering that this game is rigged, Kang To blackmails Hong Seok to extort money. Considering Jung Soo no longer necessary, Hong Seok orders his men to eliminate Jung Soo and Kang To, then seduces Jae Hyang, Jung Soo's woman, and introduces her to Mr. Hwang, a loan shark. Having lost his money and his woman, Jung Soo decides to take revenge on Hong Seok. He takes Kang To, who clings to him to learn gambling techniques, as his disciple and passes on his skills. Two years later, Kang To, disguised, infiltrates Hong Seok's fraudulent games. Jung Soo lures Hong Seok to help Kang To. Hong Seok does not suspect that Kang To and Jung Soo are in cahoots, and Jung Soo and Kang To succeed in leaving Hong Seok completely ruined in the game. After the plan succeeds, Jung Soo announces that he will leave the gambling world forever and departs from Kang To. Kang To looks at Jung Soo's retreating back and vows, "I will earn like a dog to spend like a dignitary."
