After hearing the legend of the Tiger Butterfly from a newly arrived photographer, Min Ho Rang forms an action team to find it. He encounters another group trying to catch the Tiger Butterfly, and the bad guys stage a kidnapping to capture Min Ho Rang. One day, Min Ho Rang catches the Tiger Butterfly but loses it through a cunning trick. A child among the bad guys realizes their mistake, hands over the Tiger Butterfly, but sensing it will die if it leaves this place, hides it in a safe spot and sets off on their journey. There, they coincidentally meet the photographer and capture the children's pure smiles in photos.
