Hye-rim discovers the pure conscience and humanity of Hyun-woo, a sculptor pursued as a murderer, and falls in love with him. When a middle-aged tycoon snatches Hyeon-ju, the wife of Hyun-woo's friend Seok-hyun, Seok-hyun commits suicide, and Hyun-woo shoots Shin Hong-cheol. Hyun-woo promises to come by the last train and infiltrates Seoul. On the last train Hye-rim waited for, Hyun-woo does not arrive, but a veteran detective does. Hyun-woo is arrested on the train and ultimately jumps from the train to his death. Hye-rim cherishes a poignant and pure love, and though Hyun-woo will never come, she waits endlessly for the last train's arrival.
