A skeptical poet, feeling bored on a summer day in an empty city, decides to commit suicide. Leaving the city for a deep mountain forest, the poet encounters an unconscious, abandoned woman. Feeling a strange attraction to her, he has sex with her in the forest and brings her to his apartment. The poet becomes increasingly obsessed with her, calling her the "Rose Queen" despite her lack of consciousness and unknown identity, and writes poems about the castle and its freedom. The poet, happy to fulfill his sexual fantasies that can only exist in imagination, wakes up one day to find that she, the castle, his clothes, nothing is left.
