Pal Bulchul, the assistant to real estate agent Paljasuyeom, distributes his master's land and house deeds to commoners after Paljasuyeom suffers misfortune at the hands of Chilseong. Boksoon, Chilseong's lover, tries to seduce him to obtain the land deeds, but Pal Bulchul is not swayed. He is defrauded by someone named Paeraeng and loses the land deeds, but recovers them through extraordinary means and returns them to their original owners.
