One evening, a car crashes into a street stall, resulting in three deaths. Detective Park Hyung-min, assigned to investigate, rushes to the scene and is shocked to discover his lover among the deceased. Subsequently, Park Hyung-min persistently investigates the anomalies of the traffic accident and is surprised to learn that the culprit is Son Byung-chul, a suspect he had previously interrogated in a murder case. Son Byung-chul orchestrated the incident out of resentment towards Detective Park. Tormented by the fact that his lover Min-jung died because of him, Detective Park is overcome with grief.
