High school freshman Oh Young Shim receives a marriage proposal from Jeon Young Tae, a popular singer she dreamed of, but three months later, he becomes her brother-in-law. Kyung Tae, who likes Young Shim, is unaware of her pain and persistently pursues her. Young Shim meets Moon Hwan at a blind date with her friend Wal Sook, but is annoyed by Kyung Tae, who follows her like a leech. She studies hard under her father's strict orders but only gets average grades. She is also upset that the student teacher she likes is being courted by the older, sly gym teacher. Upon learning that the student teacher, who kept staring at her in class, is myopic, Young Shim feels hurt, and various incidents fill her adolescence. One day, Young Shim encounters a thug on the street, and Kyung Tae saves her at the risk of his life. When Kyung Tae is hospitalized due to this incident, Young Shim realizes Kyung Tae's friendship and love.
