Hyun-woo, a university art instructor, had a woman he couldn't forget. Ji-sook, she was married to Min-kyu and was leading a happy life with Kyung-ah, born from her relationship with Hyun-woo, and Young-soo, born from her relationship with Min-kyu. However, through Hye-ra, Min-kyu's sister, Ji-sook meets Hyun-woo again, whom she thought was dead. Hyun-woo learns about Ji-sook's life through Kyung-ah and Hye-ra. Hyun-woo meets Kyung-ah by the decision of Min-kyu and Ji-sook, but unable to present himself as a father, he sends Kyung-ah back. Time passes, Hyun-woo's paintings, drawn at a rural ranch, sell for high prices, and his friend Sang-soo uses the money to establish a company. However, upon learning that Min-kyu's company has gone bankrupt, Hyun-woo saves Min-kyu's company. Kyung-ah learns that Hyun-woo is her biological father and leaves Seoul with Hyun-woo.
