University student couple Na Young and Dong Min are preparing for their daughter Eun Joo's first birthday party. However, Dong Min, who went on a provincial tour as a trumpet player for a third-rate band to earn money, disappears without a trace and remains unheard of for seven years. Dong Min is hit by a hit-and-run car. Although his life is saved by the devoted care of nurse Yeon Ja at the hospital, he suffers from amnesia. Yeon Ja, who didn't even know Dong Min's original name, calls him Young Tae and lives with him. One day, Dong Min hears a baby's cry and follows his instincts, eventually arriving at his old house. It is at this moment that Na Young appears. Dong Min, having regained consciousness, finds himself conflicted between his two wives. Yeon Ja even loses her son Eun Pyo to Na Young and boards a ferry towards a remote village without medical services.
