Jun-cheol, an orphan, becomes a world-class fencer. However, to support his younger sister Hye-mi, who dreams of becoming a model, he works as a thug for his friend Dong-min and the loan shark Nam Sang-do. Dong-min, also an orphan and childhood friend of Jun-cheol, loves Hye-mi and even becomes a criminal because of her, but they break up at Jun-cheol's insistence. After this separation, Jun-cheol, living alone, meets Eun-bi, Mr. Jo's daughter, when he goes to collect a debt. He falls in love with her. He helps Mr. Jo by fending off Nam Sang-do, who is pressuring for collection, and considers quitting his thug life for Eun-bi. However, when Nam Sang-do is attacked by Jang Il-hwan and his gang due to Jun-cheol's actions, Jun-cheol becomes blind while rushing into their hideout to save Nam Sang-do. Blinded, Jun-cheol tries to leave Eun-bi for her own good, but thanks to Eun-bi's sacrificial love, the two are reunited.
