A small port town on the coast of the Sea of Japan. President Kumi, a descendant of the Japanese Kamikaze unit, is obsessed with his delusions and torments Korean fishermen. Seungjeong, a student retaking his exam, gives up his dream of going to law school due to racial discrimination and returns to his hometown. Seeing his father, the head of the fishing union, and his family being looked down upon as "Joseonjok," Seungjeong decides to naturalize as Japanese and meets a Japanese woman named Yuri. He doesn't know Yuri is President Kumi's daughter and develops a friendship with her. Regardless of the two's feelings and relationship, the conflicts between their parents and between the ethnicities surrounding them begin to erupt. (Park Min)
