Go Alone Like Musso's Horn (1995)

Hye-wan (Kang Soo-yeon), Kyung-hye (Shim Hye-jin), and Young-sun (Lee Mi-yeon), who were once colleagues at the university radio station, have now reached their mid-thirties. One day, Hye-wan, who is divorced and forging her own independent path, receives a phone call from Kyung-hye. The news is that Young-sun has attempted suicide and has been hospitalized. This incident prompts the three friends, who had drifted apart after marriage and knew little about each other's lives, to share their respective wounds. Kyung-hye, who had a very realistic personality and married through matchmaking, was living pretending to be composed despite her husband's infidelity, and Young-sun's suicide attempt was also due to her husband. Young-sun, who had studied abroad, endured all sorts of hardships, only to make her husband successful and then return, now felt her life was deeply unfair. Hye-wan's independent life inspires Young-sun, but Young-sun no longer had the strength to overcome her own problems and ultimately took her own life. (Lim Jae-won)
