Detective Hyung-rae never properly catches criminals. He's always doing things that aren't detective-like. Jang Gyeong-ja, Kwak Jae-mun's secretary, along with two subordinates, devises a scheme to find out about the book Kwak Jae-mun possesses, which contains a golden Buddha statue. Jang Gyeong-ja's two subordinates drug Dr. Kwak Jae-mun with sleeping powder, then kidnap him in a car. Hyung-rae is also captured by two subordinates and suffers along with Dr. Kwak. Meanwhile, Hyung-rae, while held captive, beats up Jang Gyeong-ja's crew and rescues Dr. Kwak. Dr. Kwak, with the children close to Hyung-rae, looks at the book containing the golden Buddha statue and heads to Incheon. The children close to Hyung-rae safely find the golden Buddha statue. Thanks to the exploits of Hyung-rae and Dr. Kwak, Jang Gyeong-ja and her two subordinates are all arrested by the police. Hyung-rae throws a cake at a man and his girlfriend as a prank. After throwing the cake, the movie ends in stop-motion.
