Boots and K promise to go on a trip. K, who has bought train tickets to Gangneung, and Boots, who hesitates, choose a journey into the past. Boots comes out to her granddaughter. K, an MTF transgender, and Boots, who holds onto a lover she can never forget, are beings who have survived by sharing their identities. Weaving together old photographs and testimonies, this work restores the time of queer elders erased from history and community, and captures the meaning of a late coming out with a warm gaze.
