Determined to reclaim their right to die, Yeon and her friends accept Death's proposal and pursue the truth behind the mass murder case at Hongpyeong Pension. On their journey, they meet Seonho, a survivor of the pension poisoning incident, and head to the pension together... The pension owner, Jain, appears to be the culprit. The hidden secrets of the five people gathered at the pension begin to unravel one by one, deepening their distrust and suspicion towards each other. Amidst this, Yeon feels a desire to live for the first time, creating a rift with Yirim, who had wished to die together. Ultimately, Yeon narrowly survives Seonho's murder attempt, who turns out to be the real killer, and crosses the boundary between life and death. The survivors live on today, each carrying their scars and death etched in their hearts.
