The moment your consciousness is uploaded, you become two corpses. In the isolation of near-future technocapitalism, Barky lives with only the virtual idol Godo as his sole companion. He attempts a self-mind upload to cross over to Godo's world, but the upload is interrupted, leaving him in a residual state, belonging to neither reality nor the digital realm. The film confronts brutal class disparity and alienation.
