A moldy concrete wall, a barren house where sunlight never enters. Inside, Ryuho lives alone. His day consists of eating cold rice mixed with water and habitually flipping through channels on his CRT television. Then one day, he discovers an unfamiliar scene on TV. A man with the exact same face as his is living inside the screen. Unlike Ryuho, that man is missing a leg, but he has a happy and warm family life with his wife and young son in a modest home. After discovering that channel, Ryuho increasingly begins to long for a life he doesn't have.
