People who wake up at a set time, work in a set place, and then disappear. Dam-su, a 56-year-old man, lives a repetitive daily life in an office divided like an ice tray. In his home freezer, amidst ice cubes that believe "you'll melt to death if you go outside," a son is drawn by the sound of waves coming from beyond the door. In reality, news warning of tidal waves mixes with advertisements luring people to the sea. As his colleagues disappear one by one, leaving him alone in the end, Dam-su rejects his routine, fearing he will be called away. Yet, even in his stopped place, he begins to melt. Dam-su confines himself in another mold, a bathtub, to prevent his disappearance. Meanwhile, his son, Ice, who has escaped the freezer, flows towards the sea. In the end, both meet the same fate. They melt. But one flows, and the other stagnates. The water that flowed reaches the sea, while the stagnant water freezes again. And inside another freezer, the same words are repeated.
