South Korea, boiling even at night, and frogs, unable to withstand the heat, are drying up on the streets. Yeonho's pub is always cool and bustling, but Yeonho is just tired. Every time he hears the croaking of frogs, he's reminded of Geum-i, his former lover, whom he could never quite grasp. Geum-i, who used to smile brightly, began to dry up one day. She became an unknowable person, filled with an inexplicable despair. One day, at the end of a path where she walked, stepping on dead frogs, Yeonho finds a melted Geum-i. Her bones have melted from the heat, becoming limp like seaweed. Yeonho knows it's Geum-i.
