Hoc-cheol, a university student on the verge of graduation, along with his friend Du-man, who has received a military conscription notice, withdraws his rental deposit to buy an old car and embarks on a journey. The reason is that his family, who emigrated to the United States, is not sending him living expenses while waiting for him to come. On the road, they give a ride to Do-hee, a cosmetics salesperson, marking the beginning of their encounter. The group grows to three people, and the trip becomes more lively. During the trip, while Hoc-cheol is away to send a cassette letter to his girlfriend, Du-man and Do-hee begin a romantic relationship. Hoc-cheol witnesses this scene upon his return, leading to a fight. The next morning, they stop by Du-man's hometown, see his father from afar, and on the way back, their friendship strengthens.
