Kyeong-hwan, a groom-to-be hiding financial problems, resents Mong, the beloved pet dog of his girlfriend Su-jeong. One night, while Kyeong-hwan is out walking Mong, the dog is hit by a car. Kyeong-hwan lies to Su-jeong, telling her that Mong is lost.
