In 1945, on the eve of Korea's liberation, Yun Dong-ju dies at the age of twenty-seven in Fukuoka Prison. Following his final gaze, a young man journeys through various locations in Japan. Through encounters with Japanese people who remember Yun Dong-ju, he confronts the memories of the poet held by others.
