The Old Man and the Tiger (2025)

We meet a civil servant from Mungyeong City Hall who claims that wild tigers still live on the Korean Peninsula. He insists that tigers are alive 'even now.' While people assume tigers would be found in high mountains or deep caves, he states they live much closer than we imagine. Why do we tend to believe tigers are in high, deep, or hidden places, and why did we come to believe they are gone? The film follows the tiger he witnessed in a dark cave, along with faceless wild boars and a roe deer that fell from a cliff.
