Our 'Moment' (2024)

Five stories that capture every moment we live. [May's Mandala] A young monk 'Do-yeon' and an elderly, infirm monk live together in a mountain hermitage. One day, the elderly monk suddenly passes away, and Do-yeon is forced to descend to the city alone. While tracing the elderly monk's past connections in the city, Do-yeon encounters the story of Gwangju in May 1980. [Christmas Rite] 'Su-in', who attends church alone in a Buddhist family. She has no choice but to attend her father's memorial service held in the temple's main hall. As she sits there, the tedious memorial service begins, and the moment Su-in opens her eyes after dozing off, she is seized by an urge to bolt out of the hall. [Burning Diet] 'This is my last diet!' With firm resolve, Su-in locks herself in her room and immerses herself in a meditation diet. As she delves into meditation, Su-in's inner turmoil grows... This is not a diet. It's a battle with myself. [The Second Arrow] 'Gi-do' sorts through the belongings of his fiancée Su-in after her sudden death. He learns that Su-in's father is alive and is a monk. Gi-do visits the monk to deliver the news, but receives a stoic reaction. The monk consoles Gi-do by speaking of the impermanence of life and death. Gi-do gains enlightenment and chooses the path he will walk. [Darkness Shining Alone] Su-in, who was active as a member of a girl group, suffers from depression and eventually climbs to the suicide rock, contemplating extreme measures. Just then, she hears the sound of a wooden clapper from somewhere. Following the sound, she finds a hermitage. While spending time at the hermitage, Su-in has a special experience, and gradually, the light of change begins to envelop her.
