Gi-jeong lives a repetitive life, commuting between his workplace and his apartment. Recently, he's been losing sleep due to the upstairs noise, presumably from children running around. He visits his upstairs neighbors to complain about his troubles, but each time he's met with the answer that their children don't run around. He tries to use this issue as an opportunity to pursue his long-held dream of returning to farming, hoping to turn misfortune into a blessing, but reality tells him it's not the right time. Then that night, Gi-jeong encounters the suspect of the upstairs noise and carries out his revenge, filled with pent-up frustration.
