The Unvisited Homeland, Forgotten Memories (2024)

It has been 70 years since the Korean War stopped. It has also been 70 years since separated families were unable to return to their hometowns. As of 2023, a significant number of the first generation of separated families have already passed away. Most survivors are in their 90s or older, and their memories of their hometowns are fading. We hear the stories of separated families whose hometowns are visible across the sea, such as in Hwanghae Province and Gyodong Island, but they cannot go there.
