My father asked me to plant a tree in his urn when he died. The protagonist, Eugene, plants a tree in his father's urn according to his will, and that tree becomes a father again (?). The father, who has become a tree, is as talkative and bothersome to Eugene as he was when he was human, but Eugene gradually learns to live with his father, who has become a tree, and they live together. Then one day, while out for a walk with his father, they encounter a man carrying a tree... and his father speaks to the tree. "The weather is nice, isn't it?"
