Jeongja loses his home, company, and all his money in an instant due to an investment scam, leaving him on the streets. Unable to bear it, he decides to commit suicide on a building rooftop, but even death doesn't go as planned. While on the rooftop contemplating death, he sees the 'Gangnam 24 Hour Sauna' billboard and feels drawn to it. "Well, if I'm going, I should at least look good on my way to the afterlife." He empties his pockets of his remaining money and enters the sauna, where he meets one by one other unfortunate souls who, like him, are living in the sauna for their own reasons.
