Suryeon, the wife of Chairman Jeong of Hyunjin Group, and Moon, an employee of Chairman Jeong's affiliate company, meet by chance in Jeju and fall in love. Chairman Jeong notices their relationship, but Suryeon and Moon grow closer. They promise to leave for Hong Kong together, but upon learning this, Chairman Jeong kidnaps and imprisons Suryeon. Moon, who comes to find Suryeon, is captured by Chairman Jeong's men and suffers. Moon is released on the condition that Suryeon gives him up. However, Moon finds Suryeon, who is on the brink of death, at a mountain cabin and, in a final embrace, they sink together into the swamp of love.
